Ava Beredo is a mixed-media artist working primarily in acrylic paint and pen. She is based in New York City and Cleveland, Ohio. She is a student at Barnard College studying architecture and art history, with interests in arts education and exhibition design.

Influenced by her experience growing up in Ohio, her work serves as a visual record of the people, places, and memories that define different stages of her life. Through her practice, she explores art as a tool for observation, reflection, and preserving her experiences.

Especially drawn to architecture that supports human well-being and sustainable practices, she is excited to explore opportunities at the intersection of art, history, design, and sustainability.

Her writing and visual art have been featured in LOGOs Literary and Art Journal and Retrospect Art Magazine. She has received two Silver Keys for painting and an Honorable Mention for creative writing from the Scholastic Art & Writing Awards.
